Rikki Abzug (PhD, Yale University), Professor of Management, Anisfield School of Business, and Director, Faculty Resource Center, Ramapo College of New Jersey is a Fulbright Specialist and co-author (with Jeffrey Simonoff) of Nonprofit Trusteeship in Different Contexts; and has published articles in: Organization Science, The Academy of Management Journal, Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly, Nonprofit Management & Leadership, Voluntas: International Journal of Voluntary and Non-Profit Organisations, and Sexualities.
Dr. Abzug was formerly Chair of the Nonprofit Management Program at The New School for Social Research in NYC and Associate Director of Yale University's Program on Nonprofit Organizations.

John has been a highly successful executive in the strategic business development arena for over 30 years. In addition to his work in the nonprofit world as well as the healthcare space, he has maintained a career coaching presence since 1992. He is also the founder of Merritt Walsh Associates, LLC, a strategy firm and the parent company of Corcoran Career Coaching, and he currently serves on the leadership team at D’Alessandro, Inc., a consulting firm that raises performance for its nonprofit clients.
John spent 13 years with Pascack Valley Hospital. While at the hospital, John held the positions of Senior Vice President of External Relations, Chief Operating Officer and Interim Chief Executive Officer, as well as President of the NJ Hospital Association Fund Raising Executives. He is a graduate of William Paterson University and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Commerce and Industry Association of NJ.

Inserra Supermarkets is a family-owned and operated supermarket chain in the metropolitan area. Lawrence R. Inserra III serves as the president of Inserra Price Rite, where he oversees all aspects of operations.
As Lawrence’s role within his family business grows, he fully immerses himself in all facets of the grocery industry, continually seeking innovative opportunities to expand and enhance the business.
Lawrence is a graduate of Felician College. He lives in Mahwah, NJ with his wife, Lauren, and their two children, Rocco and Gabriel.

Cindy Myer, President, and CEO of Ridgewood Moving Services, established in 1966 as a certified women-owned business and interstate agent for Bekins Van lines.
Under Cindy’s leadership, Ridgewood Moving has grown to an award-winning relocation, inventory management, and custom storage firm serving residential, commercial, and designer clients. Cindy holds a special place in her heart for the older adult market, “VIP Seniors”.
Cindy is a sought-after speaker, has been featured in print and television, is recognized as a leading woman entrepreneur by NJ Biz, Leading Women Entrepreneur, and CIANJ, and named two times as the citizen of the year by the Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce.
However, the cornerstone of Cindy’s success has been creating a culture of giving within her organization by being a resource for her moving clients and local charities and tying that all within the communities that Ridgewood Moving serves.
Vincent J. Vicari
Regional Director
New Jersey Small Business Development Center
Vincent J. Vicari is the Regional Director of the New Jersey Small Business Development Center (NJSBDC) in Bergen County. The NJSBDC in Bergen County is hosted at Ramapo College of New Jersey.
Vicari is a Bergen County native who joined the NJSBDC network in 2008 after a successful and wide-ranging career in retail management, sales, food service, higher education and consulting. He holds an M.B.A. from National University in San Diego, a B.A. from William Paterson University, and an A.A.S. from Bergen Community College. The NJSBDC is a federal-state-education partnership that aims to support the small business community. The NJSBDC provides small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs with little to no cost support services such as help with developing business plans, finding financing, conducting accounting and financial analysis, identifying new markets, initiating marketing strategies, finding procurement and international trade opportunities, learning green sustainability practices, commercializing technology and developing an E-commerce presence. The NJSBDC is part of the network of America’s Small Business Development Centers.
Under Vicari’s leadership, the NJSBDC in Bergen County has helped thousands of small businesses as well as received commendations from Members of the United States Congress and the New Jersey State Legislature. Vicari has been recognized as a nationally leading professional figure in support of small business as a recipient of the America’s Small Business Development Center “State Star” in 2017. In 2020, he received NJBIZ Magazine’s ICON Award, which recognizes New Jersey business leaders over the age of 60 for their notable success and demonstration of strong leadership both within and outside of their chosen field. In 2021, he was chosen to receive the New Jersey Business and Industry Association’s Executive of the Year Award. In 2022, he was recognized by United States Congressman Josh Gottheimer as one of New Jersey’s 5th Congressional District “Hometown Heroes.”
Vicari is a member of the Bergen County Workforce Development Board, which works to support economic development by connecting county residents to jobs and ensuring that employers throughout the area have the skilled workers they need to grow, compete and prosper. He is an award-winning published author, serves on the Advisory Board of the Anisfield School of Business, is a member of the Education and Workforce Development Committee of the New Jersey Business and Industry Association, serves on the North New Jersey Chamber of Commerce as a Vice Chair and USAfrica Trade and Business Network as Director Retail Incubation. His presentations include academic conferences, SiriusXM Satellite Radio “The Small Business Report”, and press to include Forbes, NY Post, NJBIZ, ROI NJ, NorthJersey.com, and other regional publications.
Vicari has taught college and university credit and non-credit courses in business and entrepreneurship at public and private colleges and institutions in New Jersey for over 32 years at the associates, undergraduate and graduate level.
